North, Midlands and South are our browsing groups, not official Young Farmers boundaries. The directory covers 47 mainland English and Welsh county federations and 15 Scottish districts/federations. Scotland’s club finder also covers mainland areas such as Argyll and Renfrewshire.

North

Scotland, northern England and North Wales. Scottish entries use districts and federations; their links lead to the official SAYFC club finder.

Midlands

The English Midlands, East Anglia and Mid Wales. Eastern counties and Mid Wales sit here for convenient browsing.

South

Southern England, the South West and South Wales, including Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and the Cotswolds counties.

A GOOD PLACE TO START

How to join Young Farmers

  1. Choose your county or Scottish district, then open its official page.
  2. Ask the association for your nearest club and its next meeting. You do not need to come from a farming family to explore joining.
  3. Check that club’s age range, membership fee and joining process. Parents or guardians should contact the club for younger members.

Enquiries and applications go directly to the relevant association. The Gentleman does not arrange membership.

Directory notes. Researched and reviewed 26 October 2026 using federation directories and association websites. Where a county website could not be opened reliably during checking, the link leads to its official NFYFC profile. Scottish district links use SAYFC’s official club finder; enter a local town or postcode there.

London has no county federation listed by NFYFC. Use the neighbouring county entries. Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and island-only associations fall outside this mainland directory. For Ynys Môn (Anglesey), use Wales YFC’s county page ↗ (opens in a new tab); for Scottish island clubs, use the SAYFC finder above.
